Our Story

Potomac Title Corporation (PTC) was established in 1991, and dedicated to producing real estate title abstracts and providing document recordation services in Washington, DC for a variety of clients. After several years of solid growth and a growing reputation for accuracy and an attention to customer service, PTC expanded into Maryland and Virginia, focusing primarily on the Washington DC metropolitan area.

PTC now provides these services in more than 12 jurisdictions in Maryland, the District, and northern and central Virginia. We employ more than 10 well-qualified individuals who bring decades of title experience to their work. We also maintain vendor-to-vendor relationships with only the most qualified independent sub-contractors and title firms, which assist us in servicing such a large and diverse area.

Our ongoing mission is to provide the best service possible for our clients, at a reasonable cost.
