Our Story

Potomac Title Corporation (PTC) was established in 1991, and dedicated to producing real estate title abstracts and providing document recordation services in Washington, DC for a variety of clients. After several years of solid growth and a growing reputation for accuracy and an attention to customer service, PTC expanded into Maryland and Virginia, focusing primarily on the Washington DC metropolitan area.

PTC now covers the states of Maryland and Virginia, as well as Washington, D.C. We employ some of the best qualified individuals who bring decades of title research experience to their work. We also maintain vendor-to-vendor relationships with only the most qualified and insured independent contractors and title firms, who assist us in servicing such a large and diverse area.

Our ongoing mission is to provide the best title examinations possible, in order to exceed the real estate research needs of our valued clients.
