Title search

PTC performs title searches for a variety of purposes including sale, refinance and foreclosure. PTC can tailor the searches to fit the specific needs of our customers. Types of searches include:

• Full title searches (60-year, or in some cases 40-year searches)
• Limited searches (such as current owner searches, 2-owner searches, etc.)
• Updates of prior searches
• 20-year searches (usually ordered for foreclosure)
• 40-year Tax Sale searches
• King's Grant research, which entails searching the property back to the original King's patent
• PTC can search residential, commercial or publicly owned properties. These properties can be either subdivided or un-subdivided parcels

Recording Services

• Includes update of original title search
• Recording of land records documents such as deeds, deeds of trust, assignments and releases
• Filing of documents related to court cases such as foreclosure, divorce and civil action
• Copy Retrieval
• Land Records copies
• Index copies where available
• Court copies
